GREY’S Anatomy has confirmed the return of a fan favourite after six years off screen in season 20.

After bidding farewell to the show in season 14, her character’s return has been a long-awaited moment for viewers.

Jessica Capshaw, who portrayed Dr. Robbins between 2009 and 2018, is returning to the hit medical drama, The Hollywood Reporter, reported.

The fan-favourite will be starring in the new season, coming soon.

In her departure, after leaving Grey Sloane, Dr. Arizona Robbins made a big move to New York to ensure her daughter, Sofia, could be close to her other mother, Dr. Callie Torres.

Their decision to co-parent and keep their family together was a heartfelt one.

Now, with Arizona’s return on the horizon, fans can’t help but wonder what this means for the dynamic between these two incredible women.

It was reported that Patrick Dempsey, who portrayed the role of Derek Shepherd, made more than her, and when she asked for a salary increase, producers refused.

It was not until Dempsey was killed off the show in 2015 that Pompeo was able to argue for more money.

Now, she earns a $20million salary for her role as Dr. Grey, which helps add to her $80million fortune, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
